Type species (by monotypy): Pupa granum Draparnaud, 1801 .
Notes.—Only a single Granopupa species is actually recognized. According to molecular analyses ( Kokshoorn 2008: 21–40) it takes a basal position in the Granariinae . See also the notes with Granaria .
