D i s t r i b u t i o n. Central Europe, Asia Minor ( Schülke & Smetana, 2015); without indication for the territory is given in the catalog of Poland ( Łomnicki, 1913); Ukraine (first record).

Bionomics. The species occurs mainly in foothills and high in the mountains, in forest litter and in remains of plants ( Łomnicki, 1913).
