Liberedaxia Alten, Alten and Ramey, 2009: 1 ; Monné and Nearns 2023: 179 (cat.).

Alten et al. (2009) described Liberedaxia , but did not inform the subtribe of the genus. Currently, Liberedaxia has been included in the two subtribes of Oemini : Oemina ( Tavakilian and Chevillotte 2022; Monné and Nearns 2023); Methioidina ( Bezark 2023b) . However, the eyes are finely faceted ( Figures 11–14 ), the lower eye lobes are proportionally small ( Figure 14 ), not reaching inferior area of the head, and the metathoracic discrimen ( Figure 15 ) is distinct only on the posterior half. Therefore, Liberedaxia would be included in Methioidina .
