Species included: 2 (Afrotropical).

Synapomorphies: Sternite 5 expanded, 4–5 with modified setae (23) and basiphallus with expanded subdivided mid section and cordiform extension of distiphallus (46). The systematic position of C. gonzo and C. sternithrix can only be fully assessed as part of a more extensive molecular study. They are here tentatively ascribed to the speciesgroup based on the aforementioned synapomorphies, but differ externally.
