Type: — TANZANIA. Ukinga-Berge , Djilulu Berg , Berggipfel ,spärlicher Graswuchs,1899, W. Goetze 920 (lectotype BR [ BR0000006497729 ], designated here; isolectotype BR [ BR0000006498054 ], K [ K000313830 ]) .
Note on type of E. kingaensis :—The protologue cites two syntype collections, Goetze 920 and 1150. The material at B has probably been destroyed in 1943, but BR holds a duplicate of both, even two sheets of the first. Therefore, we chose one of the BR sheets, from the Kinga Mountains, after which the species has been named, as lectotype .
