Type species

Atrichophyllodes delalandi Hernandes et al., 2007

This genus is very similar to Nycteridocaulus , but lacks in both sexes dorsal setae d2 and e2. Two species have been recognized: Atrichophyllodes delalandi Hernandes et al., 2007 , from Corythopis delalandi (Lesson) (Tyrannidae) View in CoL , and Atrichophyllodes mentalis Hernandes et al., 2007 , from Dysithamnus mentalis (Temminck) (Thamnophilidae) View in CoL .
