Number of specimens recorded. 3.

Distribution. Europe; also North Africa. Portugal: one province (Algarve) (also Dyte unpubl. data).

Ecology. In Portugal only recorded from a brackish marsh. Indeed, also in the rest of Europe, this species displays a distinct preference for halophilous habitats like saltmarshes and brackish marshes in coastal regions or nearby river deltas ( Pollet 2000).

Rarity (%). 2.3 (rare). Very rare (FL).
