Number of specimens recorded. 14.

Distribution. Mainly western and southern Europe ( Austria, France, Italy, Spain, Corsica). Portugal: five northernmost provinces, and Ribatejo.

Ecology. Contrary to S. dufourii , this species is only recorded from river banks, and in particular forests in Portugal where it is often found near water. Its ecology in the above mentioned countries is undocumented.

Rarity (%). 8.0 (fairly rare).

Activity period. May–September.
