Number of specimens recorded. 39.

Distribution. Europe, not previously recorded from the Iberian peninsula. Portugal: five northernmost provinces.

Ecology. Recorded in Portugal from both forests, agricultural land (incl. parks), and riverbanks. In northwestern Europe, M. muralis has been collected on walls, trunks of deciduous trees and on other hard substrates along streams.

Rarity (%). 14.9 (common). Rare (FL).

Activity period. April–July.
