Number of specimens recorded. 39.

Distribution. Thus far only recorded from Belgium (Pollet unpublished data), and southern European Russia. Portugal: five northernmost provinces.

Ecology. This species displays the same ecological profile as the strongly related M. muralis . In the rest of Europe, the species is less common and mainly recorded from dry to humid woodlands and carrs.

Rarity (%). 8.0 (fairly rare). Very rare (FL).

Activity period. May–June, August, October.
