Number of specimens recorded. 1.

Distribution. Europe, in the south only recorded from Italy; also North Africa. Portugal: one province (Trás-os- Montes e Alto Douro).

Ecology. The single Portuguese specimen was collected along a riparian corridor in a mountainous area. In northwestern Europe, it has been recorded from both tree trunks and sparsely vegetated open habitats on sandy soils (e.g., dune slacks) ( Pollet & Grootaert 1996; Pollet et al. 2011).

Rarity (%). 1.1 (very rare). Very common (FL).
