Distribution. Europe. Portugal: three northern provinces.

Ecology. Mainly collected along rivers in Portugal, as well as in a park. In northwestern Europe, D. nigricans is a typical species of humid to rather dry heathlands.

Rarity (%). 4.6 (rare). Fairly common (FL).

Activity period. May–July.
