Number of specimens recorded. 1.

Distribution. Europe. Portugal: one province (Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro) (see also Meuffels 1976; Dyte unpubl. data).

Ecology. The only site in Portugal with this species can be described as a riparian corridor bordered by Salix sp. that crosses mountain meadows; the mountains are covered by shrubland (with several heathers and brooms,

Cytisus sp. or Genista sp. ) and patches of Quercus pyrenaica forest. In northwestern Europe as well, it is restricted to oligotrophic fenland and humid heathland ( Pollet 2000).

Rarity (%). 1.1 (very rare). Fairly common (FL).
