Number of specimens recorded. 42.

Distribution. Europe. Portugal: five provinces, all over the country.

Ecology. In contrast to the closely related D. latilimbatus , D. nubilus was also regularly found in agricultural land during the surveys in Portugal. In northwestern Europe, it seems to prefer open wet marshlands, and is most abundant at lower altitudes.

Rarity (%). 6.9 (fairly rare). Common (FL).

Activity period. April–October.
