Distribution. Europe; also North Africa. Portugal: two central provinces in this study, and Algarve (Dyte unpubl. data).

Ecology. Moist sites in open, partly wooded habitats.

Rarity (%). 2.3 (rare). Fairly common (FL).

Activity period. April–May.
