25. Chrysotimus flaviventris (von Roser, 1840) (Peloropeodinae) View in CoL — new to Portugal

Number of specimens recorded. 1.

Distribution. Europe, except for the south. Portugal: one province (Beira Litoral).

Ecology. The only Portuguese specimen was collected in a pine forest with Acacia spp. , Arbutus unedo , Quercus spp. and Castanea sativa (700 m). In northwestern Europe, it clearly prefers mature moderately humid deciduous forests ( Pollet 2000).

Rarity (%). 1.1 (very rare). Rare (FL).
