Helcystogramma arulensis (Rebel, 1929)

Distribution. Locally from C and E Europe ( Ponomarenko & Huemer 2001) eastwards to the Ural Mountains. Ponomarenko (2008) lists H. arulensis only from E Caucasus and S Ural, both with a ‘?’.

Remarks. The determination of the present material was confirmed by dissecting five specimens (4♂♂, 1♀; genitalia preparations preserved in glycerol). Records of H. arulensis from The Russian Far East refer to the closely related H. flavilineolella Ponomarenko, 1998 (see Ponomarenko & Huemer 2001).
