Type species. Mirabilicoxa gracilipes ( Hansen, 1916) .
Diagnosis. Desmosomatinae with sexual dimorphism pronounced, male with coxae on anterior four pereopods enormously produced. Coxae of anterior four pereopods of female moderately produced. Pleotelson anteriorly wide. First pereopod attenuated, propodus without setae, carpus slender, often with few setae.
