Holotype. Male ( NHMUK), Argentina, Río Negro , Bariloche.

Distribution. Argentina: Neuquén Province (Lago Curruhue), Río Negro Province (Lago Correntoso, Lago Nahuel Huapi, Puerto Blest, Puerto Sabino, San Carlos de Bariloche). Remarks. L.V. Knutson examined the holotype in 1976 (unpubl.). He noted that at least three undescribed species are known from Chile and Argentina (69 specimens of three species in ZMUC, 35 specimens of more than one species in CNC, 28 specimens in USNM, and six specimens of four species in DEBU).
