Halecium beanii (Johnston, 1838) View in CoL Material examined: GARCÍA 2015: St. 17. Distribution: Cosmopolitan. This species was frequently reported in tropical and temperate waters of the South America, Pacific and Atlantic Ocean ( Oliveira et al. 2016). This is the first record of this species in MPA Na- muncurá I.

Remarks: Synonyms in the area: Thoa edwardsiana d’Orbigny, 1839 ; Halecium edwardisianum Hartlaub, 1905 .
