Material examined: BBB 2017: St. 13; St. 34.

Distribution: Species widely distributed along southwestern Atlantic Ocean (see Blanco 1994; Oliveira et al. 2016 and Vervoort 1972 as A. conferta conferta ).

Remarks: Abundant big and unfertile colonies were found detached from the substrata.
