“ Metacypris View in CoL ” laciniata Krömmelbein, 1965
Fig. 8 View FIGURE 8 , 6a–c View FIGURE 6
1965a “ Metacypris ” laciniata n. sp.—Krömmelbein, p. 200–201, pl. 14, fig. 15.
Diagnosis: A species of “ Metacypris ” at most medium-sized (about 0.8mm carapace length) with the following peculiarities: both valves tapering to a blunt point towards the posterior, recognisable in lateral view as well as in dorsal view of the carapace. Median sulcus broad, fairly deep and extending to over four fifths of the carapace height. Anterior sulcus less distinct, short, more or less roundish. Valve areas in front of, behind and between the sulci inflated in a flat node-like manner, so that altogether four rather more strongly swollen valve areas can be recognized. Coarse pore dimples in a mesh-pattern on the valve centre, arranged in more linear fashion against the anterior and ventral margins and separated from each other by more or less distinct ridges, parallel to the margins.
Holotype: Carapace, SMF Xe 5373.
Paratypes: 5 carapaces, SMF Xe 5374 .
Dimension: Holotype, length 0.77mm.
