Distribution in Turkey. Karaman, Konya, Çankırı ( Háva et al. 1998); Ankara, Niğde ( Açar 2008); Konya, Niğde, Çankırı, Erzurum, Kars ( Sikes & Venables 2013a, b); Eskişehir ( Altunsoy et al. 2017).

Remarks. Widely distributed Western Palaearctic species, known from Europe to northern Iran and Kazakhstan (Růžička 2015). Species prefers grassland ecosystems, with both chernozem and fluvisol soils in central Europe ( Jakubec & Růžička 2012, 2015) and is known from open habitats in southern Russia ( Pushkin 2015). Its distribution in Turkey is limited to records in a few provinces in Central Anatolia and Eastern Anatolia Regions ( Fig. 36 View FIGURES 35–36 ).
