Paratype: 1 (slide) U.S.A. Indiana, Wells Co., Bluffton, under bark of dead tree [ Acer sp.], 25.x.1972 [“2.ix.1972” in description], R.F. Wilkey (CNC 165106, Type No.18182). Listed as a synonym of Hypogastrura harveyi (Folsom, 1902: 320) by Linnaniemi (1912: 31).
