Scolia nobilitata nobilitata Fabricius, 1804

Female. Body length 16.1 mm (range 16 mm – 16.2 mm); forewing length 12 mm; Structure. Clypeus punctated in the margins; interantennal area densely punctured; frons and vertex scattered shallow punctured; gena polished with some punctured; mesosoma densely and coarsely punctate except mesoscotum; propodeum densely and coarsely punctate throughout; hind tibial spurs acute. Color. Body and setae ferruginous; T2 with black spots on each side, T3 With yellow spots on each side; wings fuscous hyaline with violaceous reflections ( Fig. 32 View FIGURE 32 ).

Distribution. NA. Mexico: Baja California Sur ( Map 6 View MAP 6 ). United States of America (Barlett 1912; Grisell 2007).
