Cells are Gram-staining-negative, flagellated, and rod shaped. Colonies are cream color, circular, flat, and smooth after incubation on MA at 25℃ for 3 days. Strain is positive for nitrate reduction, glucose fermentation, esculin hydrolysis, gelatinase, β-galactosidase, cytochrome oxidase, and utilization of glucose, arabinose, mannose, N- acetyl-glucosamine, maltose, potassium gluconate, and malic acid; but negative for indole production, arginine dihydrolase, urease, and utilization of mannitol, capric acid, adipic acid, trisodium citrate, and phenylacetic acid. Strain KYW1326 (= NIBRBAC000501126) was isolated from seawater from Gwangyang, Jeollanam-do, Republic of Korea.
