Lysobacter ximonensis View in CoL 17J9-2

Cells are Gram-staining-negative, flagellated, and rod shaped. Colonies are yellow color, circular, convex, and smooth after incubation on R2 A at 25℃ for 4 days under aerobic conditions. Strain is positive for arginine dihydrolase, urease, esculin hydrolysis, gelatinase, β-galactosidase, and utilization of glucose, mannose, mannitol, N- acetyl-glucosamine, maltose, adipic acid, malic acid, and trisodium citrate; but negative for nitrate reduction, indole production, glucose fermentation, cytochrome oxidase, and utilization of arabinose, capric acid, potassium gluconate, and phenylacetic acid in API 20NE. Strain 17J9-2 (= NIBRBAC000501324) was isolated from soil from Jeju-do, Republic of Korea .
