Acinetobacter indicus LPB 0181

Cells are Gram-staining-negative, non-flagellated, and cocci shaped. Colonies are cream color, circular, convex, and smooth after incubation on MA at 25℃ for 3 days under aerobic conditions. Strain is positive for utilization of adipic acid; but negative for nitrate reduction, esculin hydrolysis, gelatinase, glucose fermentation, indole production, arginine dihydrolase, urease, β-galactosidase, cytochrome oxidase, and utilization of glucose, arabinose, mannose, mannitol, N- acetyl-glucosamine, maltose, potassium gluconate, malic acid, capric acid, trisodium citrate. and phenylacetic acid in API 20NE. Strain LPB0181 About LPB (= NIBRBAC000501010) was isolated from seawater from Incheon, Ganghwa-do , Republic of Korea .
