Distribution (Map 35): Iraq, Afghanistan. - In Iran: East Azerbaijan, Esfahan, Kohkiluyeh va Boyerahmad, Lorestan, Kordestan, Fars provinces (some specimens from Fars and Kerman have different coloration).

Bionomics. This bivoltine species is known from the mountain forests from 1250 m to 2250 m, and is on the wing from April to September. Caterpillars recorded on Lycium (Christoph 1885: 203) , and by Wiltshire (1957: 44) as Nadiasa repanda from S. Zagros on Amygdalus spartioides (Rosaceae) . In Iran, the caterpillars are known from Amygdalus scoparia and mountain almond ( Amygdalus scoparia : Rosaceae ). Pupa hibernates in a silky cocoon between leaves or on bark.
