Diagnosis. Females of N. saetosa comb. nov. resemble those of N. ouali sp. nov. ( Fig. 126 View FIGURES 123 − 128 ) by the median septum roughly oval ( Fig. 129 View FIGURES 129 − 135. 129 − 131 ). They are distinguished from this species by the median septum with a deep, strongly procurved anterior groove ( Fig. 129 View FIGURES 129 − 135. 129 − 131 ) and by the spermathecae with laterad loop and small rounded glandular projections ( Figs 130−131 View FIGURES 129 − 135. 129 − 131 ). Males are unknown.

Endites pale brown, distally cream colored. Labium brown, distally pale brown. Opisthosoma pale brown; dorsally with scattered irregular brown marks. Total length 12.0. Prosoma: 4.5 long, 3.8 wide. Opisthosoma: 7.5 long, 5.5 wide. Eyes: diameters: 0.20, 0.20, 0.14, 0.18; interdistances: 0.26, 0.20, 0.46, 0.36, 0.24, 0.14. Legs (2143): I: 12.8 (3.7, 2.0, 3.4, 2.9, 0.8); II: 13.0 (4.0, 2.1, 3.2, 2.9, 0.8); III: 10.6 (3.3, 1.8, 2.3, 2.4, 0.8); IV: 12.7 (3.9, 1.6, 2.8, 3.4, 1.0). Epigyne: epigynal field longer than wide; anterior rim entire, recurved; median septum almost two times wider than long ( Fig. 129 View FIGURES 129 − 135. 129 − 131 ). Vulva: spermathecae with anterior twist ( Figs 130−131 View FIGURES 129 − 135. 129 − 131 ).

Male: unknown.

Variation. Females (n = 7): total length 10.7−13.9; prosoma length 4.5−5.6; femur I length 3.7−4.9. Distribution. Known from Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic and Saint Croix (Map 2). Remarks. See remarks for N. croix sp. nov.
