Material examined: IRAN: 1♀, Kermanshah Province, Ghasr-e Shirin , 34°30'16.71"N, 45°34'49.05"E, Mar. 1974, 345m . a. s., Fassihi leg. ( HMIM) ; 1♀, Lorestan Province, 10 km, SW Dorud, 33˚27"N, 49˚05"E, 1520 m. a. s., 27 May 2014, J. Halada leg. ( OÖLM) .

Remarks: New to Iran. Obviously a very rare diurnal species, previously known from the Mediterranean area ( Yu et al. 2016, Lima 2018). The here presented records show that the distribution range extends at least into Western Iran.
