Holotype: FFR 5930 , 83 mm SL, male; Çankırı prov.: stream Ulusu, Filyos River , 40.8000N 32.8833E.

Paratypes: FFR 5933 , 24 , 71–105 mm SL; same data as holotype , — FFR 5930 , 18 , 50–111 mm SL; Çankırı prov.: stream Ulusu, Filyos River , 40.7833N 32.9166E .

Status: Valid.

Note. Turan et al. (2016a) recorded the type locality of the species as a drainage of Kızılırmak River. However, it is a drainage of Filyos River and have not any connection with Kızılırmak ( Yoğurtçuoğlu et al. 2020b).
