Species morphologically close to Gryllomorpha dalmatina , from which it differs by its size, its coloration and its male and female genitalia; it does not correspond to any known species of Gryllomorpha and could be new to science (Mohamed Sahnoun in prep.).

Type locality: Record in Algeria, Edough Mountain.

Distribution: Species new for Algeria, known from the type locality only. Biogeographic zone: Tellian Atlas.

Bioclimatic zone: Humid.

Record in Algeria: Edough Mountain [3°71'N 7°25'E] ( Chopard 1943, as Gryllomorpha dalmatina )
