Material examined. GEORGIA: Adzharia: Chikvis-Tavi , 8. & 24.vii.1949, 1 ♂, A. N. Kiritshenko lgt. ( ZISP) . RUSSIA: Murmansk District: Murmansk , 10.ix.1926 1 ♂, Kapustin lgt. ( ZISP) .

Distribution. European species, extending to Maghreb, Asian Turkey and Transcaucasia ( Lindskog 1995; Aukema et al. 2013; Vinokurov 2014a, b; Vinokurov & Kment 2015). Records from Uzbekistan belong to M. graziae sp. nov. ( Vinokurov & Kment 2015).
