Holotype male seen; in good condition.
Diagnosis. General colour uniformly shining brown without dark markings on scutum and abdomen; frons, fronto-orbital plate, face and gena strongly silver; postpedicel yellow with silver pollinosity; legs totally yellow; arista with very short hairs; scutellum with both pairs of setae developed; anterior katepisternal weak; hind tibia without a posterodorsal seta.
Notes. Included in the strigipes group. Known only from the holotype male.
