Holotype male seen ( Figs 21–24 View FIGURES 21 – 40 ); in good condition.
Diagnosis. General colour brown with light grey pollinosity; scutum with three broad brown vittae, the median one not reaching scutellum; arista short-haired; scutellum with four strong setae; lower calypter about 2.5 times as long as the upper one, distinctly projecting beyond it; legs long and thin; hind tibia with one anterior, one anterodorsal and one posterodorsal seta, the posterodorsal basad of the anterodorsal; sternite 5 as in Fig. 77 View FIGURES 77 – 88 .

Notes. This species belongs to the vittata group. One male (not a paratype) dissected and illustrated.
