47. Myrocarpus frondosus Allemão (1848: 22) . ( Fig. 7H )

Distribution: It occurs in Paraguay, in Brazil it occurs in the South, Southeast and Northeast regions from Bahia to Rio Grande do Sul ( Sartori & Tozzi 2004; Flora do Brasil 2020). In ParNa Iguaçu it occurs in the Céu Azul and Foz do Iguaçu areas.

Reproductive period: According to Sartori & Tozzi (2004) in this region, the species flowers and fruits from August to December. In ParNa Iguaçu it was found in flower in August and December. Diagnostic characteristics: Trees with pinnate leaves recognized by the translucent dots on the leaflets, whitish corolla, fruit with central position of the seed and with lateral wings.
