Amaurops (s.str.) montenegrina Székessy, 1943: 159 View in CoL . Type data: 1 Exemplar aus Montenegro, aus einer namenlosen Höhle ungefähr 12 km östlich von Niksic, 700-800 m ( Montenegro, Niksic ).

Protamaurops montenegrina Székessy : Nonveiller et al., 2000: 23 (distribution).

Type material studied: Holotype, 1♀: Montenegro, Niksic [Nikšić], VII.937, leg. Dr. J. Fodor ( HNHM).

Note: On the base of the study of the holotype, this species presents head with small and thin median carina, pronotum with small and thin lateral carinae and elytrae with completely atrophied basal fovea, all these characters place it to the genus Paramaurops .

Distribution: Montenegro.
