Material: Solomon Islands: 1 male with eggs ( MNHN –Py 1045), station CP 1831, N/ O 'Alis' Campagne SALOMON 1, 10º 12.1 'S 161 º 19.2 'E, 135–325 m; 05/ 10 / 2001, coll. Bouchet, Dayat, Warén, RicherIRD.

Remarks: A uniunguiculate species, normally found in deeper waters than this, and probably an associate of scyphomedusae. It currently has a disjunct distribution of records from the Bay of Biscay and New Caledonia ( Bamber 2002 b; Stock 1997).
