Material: Solomon Islands: 1 male with eggs ( MNHN –Py 1045), station CP1831, N/ O 'Alis' Campagne SALOMON 1, 10º12.1'S 161º19.2'E, 135–325 m; 05/10/2001, coll. Bouchet, Dayat, Warén, Richer­IRD.

Remarks: A uniunguiculate species, normally found in deeper waters than this, and probably an associate of scyphomedusae. It currently has a disjunct distribution of records from the Bay of Biscay and New Caledonia ( Bamber 2002b; Stock 1997).
