Material examined. Holotype male ( SCAU), China, Guizhou, Anshun City, Ziyun County, Getuhe National Geopark, Cave Miaoting, 25° 40.45N, 106° 18.06E, 909 m, 29.XII.2012, leg. Tian Mingyi, Liu Weixin, Sun Feifei, Yin Haomin. Paratypes. 1 male, 1 female ( IZAS), 1 male, 1 female ( ZMUM ρ2649), 5 males, 3 females ( SCAU), same locality, together with holotype.

Etymology. To emphasize the provenance of this species from the Getuhe National Geopark; noun in apposition.

Diagnosis. Keys out as H. kunnan Golovatch, Liu & Geoffroy, 2012 , but differs in male leg 17 showing an irregularly shaped outer coxal lobe, and a 3-segmented telopodite, male leg 18 with a moderately arch-shaped syncoxital notch, while the telopod a moderately, narrowly linguiform, central lobe of syncoxite, combined with lack of caudal lobe on femural caudomedial process.

Description. Length of both sexes ca 4.5–7.0 mm, width 3.5–6.0 mm. Coloration entirely pallid. Ocelli at least 1+1, translucent, barely visible. Tömösváry’s organ transverse-oval, only slightly wider than long. Antennomere 6 ca 2.0–2.5 times as long as wide.

Collum usually with one transverse stria, an incomplete, medially broken second stria occassionally visible as well. Thoracic shield with a broad hyposchism, the latter reaching up to caudal tergal margin; 8(7) transverse striae, 3 starting below, one level to, 4 above schism, 2 or 3 striae (never the first from below) crossing the dorsum. Pygidium of both sexes faintly sinuate medially at caudal margin.

Telopods ( Fig. 4 View FIGURE 4 C) with a moderately high, narrowly linguiform, sparsely setose, central syncoxital lobe flanked by two setose horns, each latter crowned with a small lobule ( Fig. 4 View FIGURE 4 D). Prefemur and, to a lesser extent, femur micropapillate laterally. Prefemur with a well-developed frontomedial trichostele. Femur with a smaller frontomedial trichostele. Caudomedial femoral process prominent, tip supporting a membranous sac, devoid of a caudal lobe. Tibia with a strong distomedial seta, caudomedial process present, tip with a small lobe; a distinct, papillate tubercle at base on caudal face. Tarsus rather strongly sigmoid, narrowly rounded apically.

Remark. In this new species, the pygidium of both sexes is faintly sinuate medially at the caudal margin, thus resembling the condition observed in H. rhinoceros sp. n.. Since H. getuhensis sp. n. likewise shows entirely unpigmented tegument and ocelli, it can well prove to be a troglobite.
