Material examined. Holotype male ( SCAU), China, Guangxi, Hechi City, Dahua County, Qibainong Geopark, Cave Qiaoxu Dong, 24° 04.623N, 107° 40.240E, 281 m, 22.VI.2013, leg. Tian Mingyi, Lin Wei, Yin Haomin, Huang Sunbin. Paratypes. 1 male, 1 female ( IZAS), 1 male, 1 female ( ZMUM ρ2648), 14 males, 8 females ( SCAU), same locality, together with holotype.

Etymology. To emphasize the relatively large body; adjective.

Diagnosis. Keys out as H. heshang Golovatch, Liu & Geoffroy, 2012 , but differs in much larger body (length> 7.5 mm, width> 5.0 mm), the rather low but rounded central lobe of telopodal syncoxite, the lack of any structures on the top of the telopod syncoxital horns, and the development of a large, recurved, caudomedial process of the telopod tibia.

Description. Length of both sexes ca 7.5–10.5 mm, width 5.0– 6.5 mm. Coloration entirely pallid. Ocelli at least 4+1, blackish, mostly rather convex. Tömösváry’s organ transverse-oval, only slightly wider than long. Antennomere 6 ca 2.5–3.0 times as long as wide.

Collum with two transverse striae. Thoracic shield with a narrow hyposchism, the latter not reaching behind caudal tergal margin; 9–12 transverse striae, 4(5) starting below, one level to, 3–6 above schism; usually 5–7 striae (different) crossing the dorsum. Pygidium (last tergite) of both sexes regularly rounded at caudal margin.

Male leg-pair 19 (telopods) ( Fig. 1 View FIGURE 1 C) with a rather low, rounded, central syncoxital lobe flanked by high setose horns, each of the latter without any structure on top ( Fig. 1 View FIGURE 1 D). Prefemur micropapillate laterally, with a welldeveloped frontomedial trichostele. Femur with a smaller frontomedial trichostele. Caudomedial femoral process prominent, tip supporting a membranous sac, subapically with an evident lobe on the caudal face. Tibia with a strong distomedial seta, caudomedial process evident, recurved; a distinct, papillate tubercle at base on caudal face. Tarsus strongly sigmoid, narrowly rounded apically.

Remark. Since it shows such troglomorphic traits as an entirely unpigmented tegument, despite blackish ocelli, this species seems to be a troglobite.
