Ceratopompa festiva Karsch,1890: 58 ; Brunner von Wattenwyl, 1891: 70; Karsch,1891: 210; Kirby, 1906: 408; Karny,1926: 48.Location of type: MfN.
Type locality: Indonesia: Sumatera .
Examined specimens: 1 ♀, Malaysia: Pahang, Cameron highlands; 900m; local collector leg. ( CJZ). Description .

Basal three segments of flagellum densely hairy, rest parts of flagellum discontinuously with dense hairs; the densely hairy areas of the antennal segments swollen. Antennae apex tint, with elongated and densely hairy last antennal segment ( Fig. 2B View FIGURE 2 ). Body brown. Antenna brownish. Outer contour of compound eyes lightly yellow. Base of each abdominal segment black, and the remainder reddish brown.
Tegmina brown. Hind wings dark brown, scattered with white round spots, and with large yellow spots in apical area; base of veins blue.
Measurements of Female (mm).
Length of pronotum: 6.44; length of tegmen: 32.40; width of tegmen: 7.80; length of hind wing: 30.8; width of hind wing: 17.4; length of anterior femur: 5.36; length of posterior femur: 12.60; length of posterior tibiae: 10.50; length of ovipositor: 9.51; width of ovipositor: 2.81.
Measurements of Male (mm) (after Brunner von Wattenwyl, 1891).
Length of body: 22; length of pronotum: 6; length of tegmen: 24; length of posterior femur: 11.
Notes. We only studied female specimens, and the male measurements were after Brunner von Wattenwyl, 1891. When alive, the antennae slowly wave, like those of long-horned beetles.
Distribution. Indonesia, Sumatera; Malay peninsula.
