Holotypus: (♀) L. 30.8.1961 Alfeld Han.; ex Macrophya punctum-album L. (Tenthr.) (Munich).
Ta xo n om i c a l r e m a r k: This species wasincluded into the M. fulvus -group by SCHWENKE (1999). The colour of the body is mainly reddish-yellow, but the apices of hind tibiae and 1 st and 2 nd tergites are distinctly brownish darkened. In my opinion, this species belongs to the M. declinans -group sensu SCHWENKE (1999: 34).
