Examined material. 25 sh. (MACN-In 40673); holotype (MACN-In 40393) and 10 paratypes (MACN-In 40394).

Description. Shell height to 9 mm (up to 13.2 mm according to Zelaya & Güller 2017); turritelliform, solid. Protoconch smooth, of 1.75 markedly angulated whorls. Teleoconch of up to 5.75 whorls, markedly convex in outline; last whorl comprising about 45% of total shell height. Suture deep, markedly channeled. Surface white; sculptured at each whorl with 15 to 16 strong axial ribs and 6 low but wide spiral cords at interspaces. In addition,

the last whorl has a strong cord at periphery of base. Aperture rounded, thick, interior white; columellar callus thick, slightly expanded anteriorly.
