Material: ZMA. V.Pl.3029.a (field number KSL2337), Yakosuba Main Base of the U.S. Navy , Tomari-chō , Yokosuka City , Kanagawa Prefecture, Kantō Region, Honshū, Japan, 11 May 1999, coll. Dr. Jun-Ichi Aoki, first fixed in 99% ethanol (2 hours) and then cut into four portions by Dr. Masaharu Kawakatsu; head, pre-pharyngeal piece, pharyngeal-and-copulatory apparatus piece, and tail. Head and pharyngeal-and-copulatory apparatus pieces were transferred into glycerin-alcohol solution; these pieces have not been sectioned. Prepharyngeal and tail pieces were kept in 99% ethanol for DNA analysis .
