Material. HOLOTYPE m (mp, left antenna, right ¯agellum beyond sixth segment, right fore wing, right hind leg, and metasoma lacking) labelled`Haimhausen Ac. pseudopl. 27.6.48 Wichm; betrillert andau-ernd Blattlaus aus der spaÈter beigefuÈgter Parasit schluÈpft.; TYPE [red]; Manque: abd., aile, & antenne. [FerrieÁre’ s handwriting]; Gygaxia saetosa n. V. Delucchi det.’. One slide (sc) labelled`33; Gygaxia saetosa n. m antenna n. g. n. sp.’ with left antenna and one slide (sc) labelled`34; Gygaxia saetosa n. ala m’ with right fore wing (1955b: 140, ®gures 3h, 3i) of holotype.
Remarks. Delucchi described the female and stated` Typus im Naturhistorischen Museum Genf ’ but did not specify the number of specimens he had.
