Material. HOLOTYPE m (cp, right hind wing, right fore leg beyond trochanter, and left mesotarsus lacking) labelled` Hollande Deventer Betrem 1952; Pachyneuron coeruleum n. V. Delucchi det.; TYPE [red]’.
PARATYPES, MHNG: 17 mm, 1 l(cp), one slide (sc) with female and male antenna and a fore wing of paratypes. VD: 1 l(cp). All specimens with data as speci®ed by Delucchi, considered as part of the type series .
Remarks. One female paratype mentioned by Delucchi could not be located.
Status. Junior synonym of Pachyneuron groenlandicum (Holmgren) ( Fitton et al., 1978: 88) .
