Distribution in the Arabian Peninsula: Arabian Peninsula ( Bohart & Menke 1976), no specific locality ( Guichard 1994b), SE Arabia ( Roche 2007), Oman ( Pérez 1907 as Tachytes tricinctus Pérez, 1907 ; Guichard 1980; Roche 2007), Saudi Arabia ( Gadallah & Assery 2004b; Gadallah et al. 2013), United Arab Emirates ( Roche 1981; Hamer 1986, 1988; Gillett & Gillett 2005; Schmid-Egger 2014; Gess & Roosenschoon 2016).

Extralimital distribution: Libya, Mauritania, Pakistan.
