Distribution in the Arabian Peninsula: Oman ( Guichard 1980 as Stizoides melanopterus (Dahlbom, 1845) ; Guichard 1989a as Stizoides klugii (F. Smith, 1856)) , Saudi Arabia ( Gadallah et al. 2013).

Extralimital distribution: Mali, Sudan, West Africa.
